A terrible scene unfolded in the early hours of Tuesday morning as a cargo ship appears to lose power and crash into a main bridge support on the Frances Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. This 4 lane bridge is part of I-695 and is a heavily traveled bridge. Many people use the bridge to get to New York or Washington DC.
In the video below, we can see exactly what was happening with the cargo ship as it approaches the bridge. Unfortunately, you can also see traffic crossing the bridge leading up to the collapse.
