Here's Why You Need to Close the Lid Before You Flush!

Do you close the lid before you flush the toilet? You should! Here is video proof why!

Scientist put their super-slow-motion camera skills to work to video the phenomenon known as “toilet plumes.” Those are the droplets of toilet water, and whatever is residing in it, that sprays up into the air as the toilet flushes. In some cases, they found the potty plumes reaching as high as almost five-feet, with a velocity of 6.6-feet, within eight-seconds of the flush.

Also take a moment to think about what is stored near your toilet. A toothbrush perhaps? All that brushing...for what?

It should make more clear than ever how important it is to close that lid and wash your hands.

Check out the video evidence below!
