Last night on the red carpet our beloved Channel 10 was carrying the Emmy's Live. As is pretty standard these days, a correspondent from another market covers the on-site interviews and the local station carries the story.
Turns out, the correspondent that was running interviews thought she was doing so for the Phoenix affiliate as she interviewed Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni from "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit". Someone off camera must have corrected her as Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay went on to give some serious love to Providence:
Christopher Meloni: "Providence, you're even better!", "It's right next door to Phoenix."
Mariska Hargitay: "Providence, probably our biggest fans!"
