It's National Margarita Day!

You guys...it's National Margarita Day! Pair that with the fact that it's Taco Tuesday and you're in for a whopper of a Wednesday! 🤣

Seriously though, it's a day to celebrate a delicious cocktail! Although, they can go wrong...very, very wrong!

What's the key to a good margarita? Two things: 1. quality tequila. There's no doubt about it, if you throw a nasty tequila (or mezcal) in your drink, it's going to taste awful! 2. The right sour mix! Something that's too sour, or honestly, too sweet, could DESTROY your sipping experience.

The easiest recipe to make a margarita involves Tequila, sour mix and simple syrup!

Here's a video to show you how to make a very easy and yet delicious margarita mix at home!

Do you like a spicy margarita? There are some amazing jalapeño or habanero infused tequilas out there. They can really spice up your drink! And if you can handle some heat...DEFINITELY go spicy!

But my all-time favorite margarita usually needs to wait until summer. You need a super juicy, very ripe watermelon. Dice it up, toss it in the blender with a few squeezes of lime juice and blend until smooth. Fill a glass with ice, 1and 1/2 ounces of your favorite tequila (I'm digging the Casamigos tequila right now), pour the blended watermelon/lime mixture over the tequila & ice until it reaches the top of the glass. And do NOT forget the salt on this one. It's amazing!

Cheers!
