During the pandemic, KFC backed off their much-loved slogan of "finger licking' good". Obviously. I mean people are super sensitive about anything where you would put fingers to your mouth. Makes sense, right?
During the last year, they've borrowed iconic catchphrases from Nike, “Just Do It,” L’oreal, “Because You’re Worth It,” and Red Bull, “Gives You Wings,” among others.
This all started in South Africa but soon KFC in the UK and Ireland jumped on board the fun, using slogans from Snickers, McDonald’s and more, and apparently many others wanted in, with companies like Aldi, Marmite and TUI Cruises offering up their catchphrases for KFC’s use.
