It's been announced that there is remake of The Wizard of Oz happening. I am not a fan of the iconic classic being remade because, honestly, it's just about a perfect movie! Nicole Kassell of "Watchmen" fame will be directing. I understand it'll be a "re-imagining" of the original which I guess was somewhat of a re-imagining of the book. Now, it nay turn out to be the coolest thing ever but it does get frustrating when instead of coming up with new ideas, old ideas are just regurgitated. I hope it turns out to be awesome but those are some big ruby slippers to fill!!
