April brings us another full moon, this month it's known as the Full Pink moon. Fun fact according to the Farmer's almanac the name Pink Moon "came from the herb Moss pink or wild ground phlox which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of spring." She reaches full peak at 12:34 am on April 6th. As long as there are little to no clouds, we should be able to see her shine big and bright! Pink Moon is her well known name, but she has others too. She has been called the Fish Moon by tribes who used her to signify fish spawning. The Pink Moon has also been called the Egg Moon, to mark the beginning of nesting season for the birds.
