What's going on I am so excited my birthday is coming up it's less than two weeks away, and I finally figured out my birthday party theme. I'm turning 31 on the 31st, and I remember thinking as a kid that maybe that will be a super fun and magical birthday. Well, I'm going to make sure it's magical with a woodland fairy themed birthday party! I might be turning 31, but I'm definitely channeling my inner Peter Pan, or should I say Tinkerbell! But did you expect anything less from this adult child haha. Also, full disclosure, when I say "party" I mean myself and my 3 besties, keeping things small and safe.
I bought a couple of decorations, but I'm making most of them. I started making these super cute fairy jars. They were super easy. I googled "fairy silhouette" printed a few I thought we're cute and glued them on the outside of an empty jar. Then I wrapped in different colored tissue paper around them and put tea lights or a string of lights inside the jar. It's so cute, it looks like I have the bunch of fairy friends now. I can't wait to reuse these in the screen house this summer. I saw a dollar tree hack for flower tealight, pop the fake flower off the stem and pop a tea light in the middle instead. Super easy, cheap and cute decoration. I might have to make my own fairy wings too, now that will be fun and interesting. I'll keep you updated on that.

I'm working on a playlist I know my party's not going to be this long at all but right now the playlist is over 8 hours long LMFAO. Fun fact about me: I love making lists lol especially playlists and I always make them super long. I have a party playlist that's over 16 hours long, it's so unnecessary. Haha, but it's so hard to cut songs because I literally say I love that song about all of them.
Thankfully since the birthday party has a theme I can kind of cut it back a bit easier since I'm trying to stick with songs that have a magic theme to them, or ones that just make me feel magical or sparkly, if that makes any sense LMAO.
