Now that's what I call upcycling! This is absolutely incredible! This company the plastic flamingo is reusing plastic waste, that would have just ended up in the ocean, and turning it into houses. They've been making shelters for people in need. They build the houses using material called Eco lumber made from shredded plastic waste and molded into planks. Currently, the team is working on making a lot of disaster relief shelters from this material. They are helping the environment and multiple ways! Absolutely inspiring, I hope we can adapt these practices all over the world. Imaging reducing all that plastic waste and changing lives and the world. You can check out more in the video and check out more of their awesome work on their Instagram.
