Happy new music Friday! Today we are gifted with new albums and singles.
First and my personal favorite, Imagine Dragons, released their 5th studio album Mercury Act I. In addition to the single from the so far i really like "No Time For Toxic People" and "Monday."
Iron Maiden dropped their seventeenth studio album Senjutsu, 37 years exactly since they released their fifth studio album, Powerslave. "Writing On The Wall" is the lead single from Senjutsu. Check out this other song, "Days of Future Past."
Drake, surprised us and released his sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy. Alongside that, he releases the music video for the song "Way 2 Sexy" with Future and Young Thug. So far this is my favorite song from the album, I'm not the biggest Drake fan, but I do love me some Future. This song might make its way to my "Get Psyched" playlist haha.
P.O.D. re-relleased their 2001 album Satellite for its 20th anniversary, it was originally released on September 11th. It brought us hits like "Alive" and the title track "Satellite"
Dan + Shay and Carrie Underwood dropped a new single with Carrie Underwood from the "Dear Evan Hansen" movie soundtrack.
Pink Floyd re-relaeased a remixed version of their song, "Learning to Fly." They also announced a reissue of their album Pink Floyd: A Momentary Lapse of Reason: Remixed & Updated coming out in October.
Elton John also announced a new album, it's a collaborations project he worked on during quarantine, The Lockdown Sessions is coming out October 22nd. Eddie Vedder, Dua Lipa, Stevie Nicks and Miley Cyrus are just a few of the artists featured on the project. Check out the track list below.
