There is a lot to unpack here. Is her dad really stepping down? Where's all of her money going?
The biggest news yet in her conservator case came out yesterday as her dad said that he was going to step down as her conservator. But of course he was a jerk about it, and he's really only stepping down conditionally if you look closely enough at the court documents.
He's only willing to step down when the time is right, and he's going to "oversee" the orderly transition, but he still wants the court to deny this petition. For the time being, he still has his grimy little hands on her estate. Someone actually referred to his resignation as a Trojan horse!
And more drama has come to light. Britney's cousin Alli Sims has it come forward with details from one of the nights Britney's parents put her in the hospital against her will. Her cousin said her mom crushed up a pill, put it in Britney's Red Bull and gave her the drink. Her parents say one of the reasons they put her in this conservatorship is because they were worried her old manager, Sam Lutfi, was taking advantage of Britney. They even accused him of drugging her, how ironic and TOXIC!!
Speaking of the latest episode of 'Toxic the Britney Spears Story', you can listen to on the iHeartRadio app. Tess and Babs dive into Britney's money and where it's all going(to Jamie and his lawyers) and how there is a lot unaccounted for. One expert said this conservatorship is nothing more than a cover-up for embezzlement. I completely agree with that. Jamie was never and Britney's life before. Then he saw a moment where he could weasel his way in and make hundreds of thousands of dollars off of her hard work. It's repulsive.
Britney's next court hearing is scheduled for September 29th it's a Wednesday and I have the day off, the bestie and I are hoping to head to a FreeBritney rally. I'll keep you updated on the where and when if that happens, most likely it will be in Boston.
We will free her and hopefully put an end to conservatorship abuse everywhere!
