This puts my backyard bonfires to shame. Last summer, my best friend came over, and we had plans to make a fire in the fire pit we have out back. I've seen bigger fires than this one, but my friend was shocked at how tall the flames were, about 4 feet high at it's highest. My "bonfire" fire is nothing compared to this, the world's largest bonfire, over 22 stories tall, constructed of mainly pallets. This happens in Norway for their Slinningsbalet celebration. The town build this huge stack to set ablaze on this small island surrounded by water for safety purposes. Watch it all come together, go up in flames, and tumble down. It must be so cool to witness in person, and I can only imagine the heat that thing throws. The year is still early, but hopefully they have locked down another Guinness World Record victory!
