Steph's weekend in 5 pics - 6/21/21

Hey y'all hope you had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good overall. Started off a little rocky, I was a hot mess on Friday, but no worries, I pulled it together Saturday haha. Lots of little things kept going wrong Friday, and it was starting to add up to be very annoying. I had a date to go on, and I forgot my shoes at home when I went to work. Also, forgot my good headphones I had to use my okay earbuds, not fun. Showed up for the date (after confirming my outfit would fit the restaurant, a black sequin dress) and he tells me that I'm overdressed for the restaurant, which wasn't even the original restaurant we were supposed to go to because he couldn't get reservations there. Then I had to pick another outfit out of a bag of clothes I had in my car to donate, thankfully I guess I forgot to drop them off that morning, but I had this hideous outfit on that didn't; fit well. I know, first world problems, but I felt ugly all night, which sucked because I had this really cute outfit picked out, and I thought I was going to feel like a bad bitch, but I just felt lame and frumpy. I think because my confidence was in the toilet, the rest of the night was just awful. However, I did get to go to a candy store and buy a bunch of jelly bellies, and you know I got a boatload of buttered popcorn because those are my favorite!. Lol, Although I don't mean that literally; Did you know that a "Butt" is an actual measurement? It's how liquids were measured in medieval times. A butt is equivalent to two hogsheads, which is like those big barrels, and it's equivalent to 130 US gallons or 491 liters. Fun Fact!

So like I said a rallied Saturday, got up early in the morning, ran some errands, and then my girl came over to hang and drink mojitos. We made strawberry Kiwi mojitos, sat in my screen house with Kohl and just chatted, vented, and quoted Community; then watched Community haha. Lol. It was super chill and a much-needed bestie day.

Sunday, of course, as you know was Father's Day, so we took my dad out to eat for dinner at some restaurant in Woonsocket I don't remember the name of I'm terrible with names and had a really nice dinner it was delicious we had some good laughs and some good drinks. It's my dad's first time out to eat since he broke his leg, so he was very excited. He's finally up and walking around now, physical therapy is going well. I think my amethyst crystal is help too, is a good healing stone.
