Van Gogh Exhibit Coming to Boston!

If you're into art, and I am, I've got some good news for you. Van Gogh the immersive exhibit is coming to the US. The closest it's coming to us is Boston and then New York. It's going to be in Boston September 2021 and the visit will take about 60 to 70 5 minutes, and we don't know where, yet it's in a secret location right now. You can check it out at this link and watch the video below. Considering how amazing this is tickets aren't too badly priced at around $40 if you pick a time and if you want you can get a flex ticket for 65. I'm always running late, so I feel like I should buy a flex ticket just in case haha. I'm hoping that Stimmy comes in, so I can treat myself to a ticket.

I loved the van Gogh since I was a kid. I had this really amazing art teacher in elementary school, each week we would learn about a new artist and paints something of theirs or in their style. I always loved when we did Van Gogh. Once we had to make a picture using pastels and I replicated his scarecrow scene. I got an A on that. Another time we made the sunflower painting, we got to paint the sunflowers however we wanted, it didn't have to look exactly like his. She gave us creative freedom which I really liked. Then the fun thing she had us do was sprinkle pepper for the seeds in the center of the flower, and the texture gave it this little extra something that I liked. It was simple but cute, and obviously left an impression about 20 years later.

I also really loved when they featured Van Gogh on Doctor who. The doctor and Amy pond bring him forward to the future to see his art exhibit try to show him how his arts appreciated, and it was a really incredible scene you can watch that here too.
