No doubt we have learned many lessons from 2020 one of those is to be prepared and make sure you've got plenty of toilet paper. haha! What was with that?? Did everyone think they were going to crap themselves to death? Thankfully the CDC put out guidelines for us to follow like social distancing, wearing face masks etc. I think after than pandemic there is nothing we can't get through. IMO our next worse case scenario is a something like a zombie uprising.
Did you know the CDC has guidelines in place for a zombie apocalypse? Yes, that's right a Zombie Apocalype. They have had these in place since 2011 after the Walking Dead aired it first season. Better to be safe than sorry.
It consists of a basic disaster kit including things like water, food, medications, tools & supplies, hygiene, clothing, bedding, important documents and first aid supplies.
You wanna have an emergency plan including a meeting place for the family, have a list of emergency contacts, and an evacuation route to keep you away from the brain craving undead, so you can safely make it to a zombie-free refugee camp.
The CDC wants you to know they're prepared if zombies start roaming the streets. They will handle like any other disease outbreak.
They would provide assistance where needed, and investigate the cause of it, find the source of infection (aka patient/zombie 0). Furthermore, they would work with scientists to try to find a treatment or cure.
After seeing them handle the COVID pandemic I have confidence in their ability to handle a zombie apocalypse.
