This new music Friday is so exciting, new albums from Ariana Grande and Sam Smith! They are great!
From Ari's Positions so far I'm loving "34+35," "Just Like Magic," "Nasty," "Love Language," "Positions," and last but not least the song Ryan Tedder worked on "Obvious". And cue Alanis because that song title is ironic, obviously I would love the song Ryan helped write. lol
He also wrote on Sam's Love Goes. It's the latest single to drop from the album, "Kids Again." I love it, and some of my other album faves are, "Dance ('Til You Love Somebody Else)," "So Serious," "Diamonds" and "My Oasis" just to name a few. Some of my favorite producers worked on this album including Andrew Watt, Louis Bell and Labrinth!
I'm looking forward to adding these into my current album rotation of over a dozen albums including, Taylor's Folklore, Dua's Future Nostalgia, Gaga's Chromatica and Posty's Hollywoods Belleding.
Some great new music this week! Let start with this acoustic version of Shawn Mendes new single "Wonder," it's fire! Enjoy!
This next one slipped under my radar a few weeks ago but Bastille has released a new song called "Survivin'" and you can see them perform it live from One Eyed Jacks in LA.
Love Rachel Platten I can always count on her for a song that's inspirational af. Her newest one is a ballad called "Soldiers."
Because it's Fall, it's time to get ready for Holiday music. It's too early for me to start listening but once December rolls around you know it'll blasting!
Carrie Underwood released My Gift at the end of September and this week we got 2 more albums:
The Goo Goo Dolls It's Christmas All Over
Meghan Trainor A Very Trainor Christmas
Carly Rae Jepsen also dropped a song form her upcoming Christmas album "It's Not Christmas Till Someone Cries."
Dan + Shay teased us by posting a picture of a Christmas Tree emoji and a question mark. I think it's safe to assume we're getting at least a song from them if they dropped an entire Holiday album my soul would love that so much! Fingers Crossed!
