Hello there, all you cool cats and kittens,
Come, sit and sip on this tea.
Not sure about you but when "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness" came out I was hooked, I was obsessed. I think I binged it all in a day. I was telling everyone about it, made my bf watch it so I watched it again. And saw the first half once more with my friend. I was clearly feeling the quarantine. This show was a great distraction, not only did this show include big cats, but lots of drama too! Between the the love triangle, back stabbing, and death threats there was nothing this series didn't have.
The steam from it has died down but behind the scenes there is still more drama doing down in the aftermath. Things didn't look or sound settled in the after show special hosted by Joel McHale and that's because they're not.
Rumor has it there might be a season 2 of "Tiger King" According to John Reinke the producers still have a lot of unseen footage that they have shot. They basically told John it's not over they would be in touch in the future. I ate the first season up, so I would honestly be down for some more juicy stories.
As for the current drama Carol Baskin finds herself in the middle of more. She got the zoo from Joe because he couldn't pay her the ! million he owed her fro the copyright lawsuit. They are now re-investigating her late husband,Don's disappearance, I still think she did it. And I'm not alone, Cardi B thinks so too, she said so in a tweet clapping back at Carol when she called out Cardi for having tigers in her "WAP" video. Carol clapped back saying Cardi B was deflecting the animal cruelty accusation by bringing up Don. Personally, I think Carol would know all about deflecting because she does it anytime she's asked about killing her late husband. .
I think she just likes the attention, in my opinion. Although, she didn't like the way the portrayed her so she wont be back for a follow up season, if there is one. She wouldn't even do a follow up interview with anyone. Sooo there some YouTube pranksters who took care of that for us. She thought she was being interviewed by Jimmy Fallon and it was all a ruse. Check it out it's hilarious!
Now there may or may not be an actual second season of "Tiger King" but there will be a spin off starring Jeff Lowe and his wife Lauren. They are currently building a new private park in Thackerville, Oklahoma and moving the exotic animals from the "Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park" to the new place. Jeff recently turned in his zoo licence so the park is now closed off to the public.
The new zoo,Tiger King Animal Park, will also be closed to the public with Jeff says means they're not under the watchful eye of USDA inspections or PETA spies. It will also be the film set for their Tiger King spin off that will be coming to streaming services and cable TV. I'll keep you posted on that future tea party, we might need big towels for that tea spillage. haha
xoxo
