Cue Gaga and Ari because I'm ready for the meteor shower to rain down or over me I guess. I think I'd prefer to no be hit by a meteor lol I digress, there is meteor shower happening this month. Tuesday, the 11th, overnight into Wednesday, the 12th, is when it's at it peak. It the most popular meteor shower and I can understand why...75 meteors can be seen per hour! The meteor are multi-colored, bright and leave a glitter trail behind them. I'm super excited for this.
My bestie is coming over to hang out and watch it with me. We're blowing up the air mattress for my truck bed I'm gonna park it in the backyard and load it with pillow, blankets and bug spray, of course. I'm bless to live in Burrillville for times like this because you win to find and area with low light pollution for the best view.
Best time to watch is from 11 pm-1 am, you can still see some earlier starting at 9 pm. Also a tip don'e be look at your phone an d try no to avoid having the moon in your live of sight to help cut back on the light pollution. You don't need anything to watch them either, they can be seen with the naked eye. Just find a good spot settle in, put on some music, Coast perhaps," :P and enjoy the show. I'll do my best to take some cool pictures, and post them up here after.
