It’s been a long time since Mariah Carey has been the opening act for anyone, but she will be this year for the Big Guy. The Queen of Christmas is joining the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and she’ll be singing on the float right ahead of Santa Claus!
Mariah made an Instagram post saying that being a part of the parade is her "childhood dream is coming to life! I’m going to be opening for the one and only, Santa Claus!”
Of course, she’ll be singing her mega hit holiday tune "All I Want for Christmas Is You,"
The 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade kicks off live from New York City on Thursday morning at 8:45 a.m. on NBC and it will also stream live on Peacock!
