Queen Elizabeth II's Funeral is Monday September 19th: Here Are the Details

Rehearsals have begun for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral which is scheduled for this coming Monday, September 19th at Westminster Abbey. Reportedly 45-hundred British Army soldiers will be part of the military parade, and they were seen getting ready for the ceremony last night.

The late monarch is lying in state at Westminster Hall, and the lines have been crazy as citizens wait hours to pay their respects in lines that stretch back 10 miles. Believe it or not, folks are already setting up their chairs along the procession route to make sure they have a prime spot for Monday's funeral!

King Charles III will walk behind his mother’s coffin during the funeral procession, and his siblings Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Princess Anne will follow along behind him. Prince William, who is the new Prince of Wales, and his brother Prince Harry will also walk with their father the King.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will represent the United States, and the UK's newly elected Prime Minister Liz Truss will be present along with around 500 other heads of state and foreign dignitaries.

If you want to watch the funeral, it will air over here in the US starting at 11am British Standard Times in the UK, or in the USA at 3 a.m. PT/6 a.m. ET.

11am eastern on several different channels including NBC News Now, CNN, ABC, Fox News, BBC News and other major news channels.
