Mike Meyers may sign on to star in Bryan Singer’s Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. No word yet on who he might play. The film stars Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury. Of course we loved Meyers in Wayne’s World when he and Garth and the gang rocked out to “Bohemian Rhapsody.” You know that scene almost didn't happen? He said the studio wanted to use a Guns n' Roses tune, but he insisted on Queen and finally got his way. From what I hear, Mike Meyers hated shooting that scene in the movie. He said his head hurt from all the headbanging, but it's definitely one of my favorites. A scene from the movie was released on YouTube featuring a recreation of Queen's performance at Live Aid in 1985. Look for the movie in theaters on Christmas day, 2018.
