You could own a piece of TV history! Barbara Eden’s genie bottle from the show ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ is for sale…and it’s estimated to bring in over $100,000! The original director of the 1960s series first discovered the bottle in a liquor store window. It’s actually a Jim Beam bourbon whiskey decanter that was a special edition for Christmas 1964. He wanted something other than an 'Aladdin's lamp', and this bottle was perfect! It was painted and used as a prop for the show. Along with the bottle, the buyer gets a letter of authenticity from Barbara Eden, who verifies this is first bottle used on the show. Sorry, Jeannie doesn't come with it, but give it a rub anyway. The bottle will be auctioned off through Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles on April 28.
