Strong Turnout For Early Voting, So Far

The turnout is reportedly strong for the first few days of early voting in Rhode Island.

The Secretary of State's online tracker showed a total of nearly 8 thousand votes being cast.

That includes mail in and early voting.

The number represents about 1 percent of the total electorate in the state.

Early voting ends September 8th, on the eve of Primary Day, September 9th.
