Narragansett To Stop Using Flock Cameras

The town of Narragansett is going to stop using flock cameras.

Some residents and public officials voiced privacy and constant surveillance concerns about the automated license plate readers.

The town council has voted to cancel the contract with the public safety technology company that supplies the cameras.

The current agreement expires in September, 2027.
