Torrential downpours with the risk of localized flash flooding is expected in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
A slow-moving storm will produce one-three inches of rain from tonight through tomorrow with lingering showers into Thursday.
Forecasters warn of the likelihood of ponding on streets and flooding in poor drainage areas where the rainfall is heaviest.
Friday will be dry.
