Three people have been found dead in a vehicle pulled from the Seekonk River in Pawtucket on Monday.

The vehicle went into the water Monday night and crews searched until 1 a.m. before suspending their efforts until Monday morning.

After the vehicle was pulled from the water yesterday afternoon, the bodies of a 45-year-old woman, a 22-year-old woman and a two-year-old girl were found.

Police are trying to determine how the vehicle ended up in the water near the Taft Street boat ramp and at this point, they believe it was a tragic accident.
