Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed says he stands with the Jewish community after antisemitic graffiti was found at Hanaford Elementary School, Cole Middle School, and East Greenwich High School.
The senator says the coward or cowards responsible for the graffiti need to be held accountable.
He also says while that type of mean-spirited and disrespectful action is meant to instill fear, it has instead broadened community support from people of all faiths who say antisemitic hatred won't be tolerated.
Reed says nobody should be intimidated by the graffiti and whoever did it should be ashamed.
