Police at the University of Rhode Island are investigating two suspected voyeurism incidents in residence halls.
The first incident was reported on Friday night in the Browning Hall all-gender bathroom and shower area at and the second alleged incident happened late Monday night at the Butterfield Hall men's shower area.
Officials say the suspect is accused of using a cell phone to try and record men as they were showering, but he fled before police arrived at the scene.
URI police have increased patrols, and they are asking the campus community to report suspicious devices or people in bathroom and shower areas.
