A Blackstone Valley Prep teacher has been accused of assaulting three students under the age of ten.
Djamila Vaz Rosa allegedly slapped two special needs students in the head in early February and during a police investigation the family of a third student reported a similar incident.
Vaz Rosa was immediately placed on administrative leave from the school and was terminated the following morning.
Vaz Rosa is facing three felony counts of second-degree child abuse.
She has been released on 15-thousand-dollars personal recognizance ahead of her formal arraignment on Tuesday.
