Providence Mayor Brett Smiley says crews are continuing to make progress in the city's blizzard recovery efforts.
He says heavy-duty equipment has been deployed across every neighborhood to clear the snow and restore access citywide.
The mayor says the industrial snow removers the city hired are working to speed up the snow removal process on all major roads.
He says the vehicles have been paired with fleets of city dump trucks to haul snow off of the streets and into designated snow drop off points.
The city's parking ban remains in effect to ensure that crews can continue to effectively remove snow in every neighborhood.
