RI To Receive 156-Million-Dollars For Rural Health Care

Rhode Island has been awarded more than 156-million-dollars in federal funding for health care delivery in the state's 18 rural towns.

The five-year funding will also be used for critical support to local providers.

Governor Dan McKee says this is a major win for Rhode Island, allowing the state to strengthen the foundation of its health system, improve outcomes, and ensure that residents can get the affordable, high-quality care they deserve.
