Cranston Man Sentenced For Trafficking Meth-Laced Pills

Federal prosecutors say a Cranston man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for producing and trafficking an "astronomical" number of pills laced with methamphetamine.

Sambo Sok oversaw an operation that produced pills containing meth, caffeine, MDMA and other substances that were falsely marketed as Adderall.

During a search of his home, shed and vehicle in 2022, DEA agents found about 25 thousand of those pills, along with mixtures containing meth and fentanyl.

Sok pleaded guilty in June.
