FIFA officials say the U.S. government has final authority over the safety of 2026 World Cup cities.
This follows President Trump's threat to move matches from cities like Boston over safety concerns.
FIFA says all 16 host cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico meet safety rules and will be ready.
Meanwhile, the International Olympic Committee is confident Los Angeles is ready for the 2028 Olympic Games, despite Trump's similar threat.
