Former RI Deputy Sheriff Pleads No Contest In Restroom Video Recording

A former deputy sheriff pleads no contest to disorderly conduct for an attempt to record a woman in a bathroom at Johnson and Wales University.

Jeffrey Cahoon entered his plea during a pretrial hearing on Wednesday in connection with the September incident at the Starbucks on Chestnut Street.

The judge has placed Cahoon on a one-year filing and the case can be expunged if he does not break the law in the next 12 months.

He must also undergo counseling and enroll in a mental health program.
