Rhode Island will be holding a tribute to the late Judge Frank Caprio at the State House this week.
Governor Dan McKee says Judge Caprio's portrait will be displayed in the rotunda and there will be a condolences book for the public to sign and share their remembrances.
The governor says Judge Caprio was a symbol of compassion and humanity whose empathy on the bench touched lives across Rhode Island and around the world.
The tribute begins at 12:30 this afternoon and it will continue until 4:30 on Friday afternoon.
Judge Caprio passed away last month at the age of 88.
