Governor Maura Healey hosted ten Democratic Texas lawmakers at the State House yesterday.
The ten Texas lawmakers left that state to prevent a vote on a new congressional map supported by President Trump.
Healey described the effort to redraw the Texas maps as an outrageous and partisan attempted power grab.
She says the visit by the Texas lawmakers is an opportunity to sound the alarm on a growing nationwide threat.
The Texas Democrats were in Boston to attend a conference for state lawmakers.
