Another day of high heat and humidity is on tap for today for the entire listening area.
The National Weather Service heat advisory continues until eight p.m., with today's heat index again expected to surpass 100 degrees.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible tonight, and will be followed by much cooler air tomorrow.
The high temperatures in western Mass and Northern Connecticut and much of Rhode Island are expected to be around 75 degrees tomorrow, and Friday.
On The Cape could see around 70.
