Woman Charged For Leaving Infant, Dog In Car While Gambling

Tiverton Police say a Massachusetts woman has been charged after leaving an infant and a dog in a Bally's Casino parking garage while she gambled.

Elyse Busch was found in the casino and arrested Saturday evening after police found the 15-month-old child and a small dog in an unlocked vehicle.

Security footage revealed that Busch had been in the casino for at least a half-hour.

Busch has been arraigned on charges that include cruelty to, or neglect of a child and the infant is now in the care of a family member.

Busch has been released on bail and her next court appearance is on July 17th.
