The Department of Health and Brown Dermatology will soon be offering free skin cancer screenings at some Rhode Island parks and beaches.
The first screening will be held this Saturday, July 12th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Scarborough Beach North in Narragansett.
There will also be screenings at Easton's Beach in Newport on July 18th, Scarborough Beach North in Narragansett on August 2nd and at Lincoln Woods State Park on August 15th.
All screenings will be private and provided by dermatologists.
The first 100 people at each event will be screened.
