Police in Lincoln have arrested a man on drug and gun charges following a weekend traffic stop.
Officers stopped Emiliano Mendez for speeding shortly after 5:00 p.m. Saturday and discovered there was a bench warrant for his arrest.
During a search of Mendez's vehicle police found more than 100 grams of marijuana, THC edibles, psychedelic mushrooms and a gun with a high-capacity magazine.
Mendez was taken into custody on several firearm and drug-related charges.
