Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha has launched a new website for consumers of UnitedHealthcare's Medicare Advantage health insurance plan.
It comes after Brown University Health and UnitedHealthcare announced that without a breakthrough in contract negotiations, Brown hospitals would no longer accept UnitedHealthcare plans as of July 1st.
Neronha says consumers want to know how the contract dispute will affect coverage and the website addresses continuity of care, emergency and non-emergency coverage, and other important topics.
