The jury in the Karen Read murder retrial in Massachusetts failed to reach a verdict Tuesday and will be back at it on Wednesday.
The day started with some action, with the jurors asking the judge "Are video clips of Karen's interviews evidence?"
The judge told the jury, "yes," adding "you should weigh the defendant's statements as you would any other piece of evidence."
The prosecution used Read's TV interviews to point out alleged inconsistencies in her story.
Read is accused of hitting her Boston cop boyfriend John O'Keefe with her SUV and leaving him to die in a snowstorm in 2022.
Her lawyers say she's being framed by police.
