Chicago-based Walsh Construction Company is going to rebuild the westbound side of the Washington Bridge.
The cost is 339-million-dollars with potential incentives and other factors bringing the total cost to 427-million-dollars.
Completion date is November, 2028, nearly five-years from when the bridge was abruptly closed due to structural deficiencies.
State Department of Transportation Director Peter Alviti said Walsh Construction is "the best bridge builder in the country."
