Cranston Police say a 13-year-old girl is seriously injured after she was struck by a car.
The accident happened Thursday as the girl was crossing Cranston Street at the Princess Avenue intersection on the way to school.
Police say the girl was in the crosswalk when she was hit and the driver remained at the scene.
The girl is being treated at Hasbro Children's Hospital.
So far, no charges have been filed.
