Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi has named a new Police Chief to replace Colonel Brad Connor who is retiring at the end of June.
The mayor says Commander Michael Lima will be taking over the role and Major Andrew Sullivan will be promoted to deputy chief.
Commander Lima is a 21-year veteran of the Warwick Police Department who has served on the Crisis Negotiation Team and the Community Services Division.
Major Sullivan is a 28-year veteran of the Warwick Police Department and has held positions in the Patrol and Detective Divisions.
