A bicyclist is seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening.
Police say the accident happened at the intersection of Benefit Street and Central Avenue just before 7 p.m.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to investigators, the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
