Karen Read Trial Continues For Day 11

The judge in the Karen Read murder retrial has banned any mention of the death of Sandra Birchmore during the case. 

State Police investigators who found that Birchmore committed suicide were also involved in the investigation that led to Read being charged with killing her boyfriend John O'Keefe. 

Former Stoughton Police detective Matthew Farwell was indicted by the federal government for the killing of Birchmore in Canton. 

Farwell allegedly had sex with Birchmore when she was 15, and the feds say she was carrying his child at the time of her death in 2021.
