A key witness in the murder retrial of Karen Read is being questioned about being coached.
Read is accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston cop John O'Keefe, by hitting him with a car, and the defense claims a family friend of O'Keefe,
Jennifer McCabe, is not as combative as she was while on the stand during the first trial.
On Wednesday, Read told reporters McCabe lied on the stand when she testified about Read's reaction to finding O'Keefe's body.
Read's defense team claims she's the victim of a cover-up and is being framed for the murder of O'Keefe, a Boston police officer.
Read is expected to be back on the witness stand when the trial resumes today.
