Red Sox Win Double Header Over St Louis

The Red Sox throttled the St. Louis Cardinals 18-7 to complete a sweep of the Sunday doubleheader at Fenway Park.

Rafael Devers was 4-for-4 with four runs scored and three RBI while Alex Bregman went 4-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and six RBI.

Starting pitcher Hunter Dobbins earned the win and Cooper Criswell notched the save.

Devers homered in the first game of the day to lead Boston to a 5-4 win in a 10-inning contest.

The Red Sox swept the series and are now 6-and-4.

St. Louis pitchers Miles Mikolas and Ryan Fernandez were tagged with losses on the mound.

The Cards now sit at 4-and-5.

Red Sox host Toronto tonight.
