Caretaker Pleads Not Guilty After Autistic Woman Went Missing

A 43-year-old woman has pleaded not guilty to charges connected to the disappearance of a 45-year-old autistic woman last week.

The woman found safe and sound in the back of a car in Cranston Sunday.

Now Roberta Gerard is free on five thousand dollars bail on a variety of charges and will be back in court in June.

Prosecutors say that Gerard had admitted to leaving the autistic woman, 45-year-old Linda DaLomba in a car so she could visit friends.

The family confirmed to reporters that DaLomba was being cared for by Gerard for the last five years.

And, although they say they are thankful their loved one is ok, there are still a lot of unanswered questions.
